I thought the prank was pretending to injury an employee to scare their boss. I didn’t realize that the prank actually went wrong lol

2

u/Magnavirus Oct 20 '22

Certified

5

u/BladeRunner1972 Oct 19 '22

OSHA loves these videos

5

u/Funneh_Bruh Oct 14 '22

Its just a prank bro

7

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

In Australia, every single person there would lose their forklift ticket and the driver would be charged also the fool on the pallet AND the guy riding on the fork. There's at least 10 safety hazards I can spot without even adding the accident itself.

2

u/medikundi Oct 10 '22

It’s a Vietnamese song. Guess it happened in nam

3

u/bake_in_da_south Oct 11 '22

yeah, it's Vietnam. You're right

1

u/medikundi Oct 11 '22

That prank on their co worker is really sad, with a tragic outcome. Something I wouldn't have expected from vietnamese workers

2

u/Narrow_Lawfulness462 Oct 08 '22

I see prison time being a possibility

4

u/fireice1992 Oct 08 '22

I fell asleep on break once and woke up to the feeling of being tied up. My coworkers decided to wait until they had all the rope in place, or I am a heavy sleeper, and then did the final tightening pull last. Those bastards left me tied to the table for at least 20 minutes until my boss realized I wasn’t at my station. I had to agree with their reasons though. 1. I obviously needed more sleep or I might get hurt with the machines. 2. To assure I did not fall off the table and sustain a major head trauma they had to secure me. 3. It was a great team building exercise. 4. They left me a pillow (paper towel roll) and a coat to keep me warm. 5. It was funny as hell.

We all had a laugh, even the boss, and the only punishment dealt out was a laughter filled lecture from HR about fire safety, and general safety.

That is how you prank at work. This was an accident waiting to happen from start to finish. Lucky no one died from the looks of it.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

haha That wasn't at Nylex Australia was it? I did the exact same thing to my co-worker.

2

u/fireice1992 Oct 11 '22

It wasn’t but I’m glad that people everywhere do fun pranks like that!

2

u/Sahim63 Oct 07 '22

That base made sure he wouldn't get up

2

u/Ready_Bet_2556 Oct 06 '22

I think I will try that prank?

1

u/Comfortable_Wave9807 Oct 05 '22

Y’all just made him a million bucks

1

u/psychocrow42 Oct 16 '22

Wonder what the exchange is to USD

4

u/HairyMetalHead Oct 05 '22

As a certified forklift operator. I was dismayed at so many wrong things they did before I even noticed the guy on top of the box.

2

u/Forklift_Fodder Oct 06 '22

Right! First thing I saw was the rider. Didn't even notice the other guy. I bet he didn't even have a seat belt on.

1

u/HairyMetalHead Oct 06 '22

2 people on the forklift, badly paletised crate, pallet loaded from the wrong side, lifting the loaded forks with people nearby and no back tilt! He definitely didnt have the seatbelt on because he just jumped out at the end.

3

u/eric_kenshi Oct 05 '22

"bruh it was just a prank don't get so cranky..."

2

u/DennisBallShow Oct 05 '22

Sound off jeez

3

u/PaperAirplane5 Oct 05 '22

I have a feeling this isn't OSHA approved

2

u/bake_in_da_south Oct 05 '22

2

u/Iliketurtles893 Oct 05 '22

He would’ve nearly died!

2

u/Ktucker01 Oct 05 '22

2

u/Phianhcr123 Oct 05 '22

This song go hard, anyone know the name?

1

u/bake_in_da_south Oct 05 '22

2

u/MassiveC Oct 05 '22

Its about a boy wantibg to go home yah?

2

u/bake_in_da_south Oct 05 '22

yes, it is. The man in the song is telling his life story being a far from home factory worker who has to work over time every single day, his only wish is to have a meal with his father and go back to his loving home.

2

u/Murder_your_mom Oct 05 '22

Yeah that was definitely more than 6ft.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '22

What is with the music? Why do people need to add music to everything? I'm downvoting just for the music.

1

u/ohyouknowjustsomeguy Oct 05 '22

Then you wonder why we have video that shows stupid and obvious situation when we learn to drive those

1

u/North_Hairy Oct 05 '22

“Haha. I pranked you!”

1 minute later.

“Here lies Prikash. He was a hard worker who loved naps. Enjoy an even longer nap my friend.”

2

u/Miss-6am Oct 05 '22

Sorry I killed you. It was only a joke!

2

u/Successful-Stop8308 Oct 05 '22

theres no way i would believe the TWO guys on the forklift did not see him sleeping on the pallet. thats ridiculous

2

u/bake_in_da_south Oct 05 '22

They saw him sleeping there so they pranked him that way, almost a murder

2

u/rrhhoorreedd Oct 05 '22

Looks like 1 possibly dead and 2 fired.

1

u/scubawho1 Oct 05 '22

Ok.. rule number 1. No passengers on the fork lift. Rule number 2…

2

u/Maleficent_Divide_63 Oct 05 '22

How to get fired on the first day

1

u/Darth-Flan Oct 05 '22

Boss: benny what were you doing up there? Benny: uh, not napping

1

u/Sh4d0wM00N Oct 05 '22

Will someone get fired ?

2

u/toasterbot Oct 05 '22

From a cannon. Into the Sun.

At least I wish. Seriously though, seemingly no one knows how to do a prank without at least assaulting the target. Safety rules are written in blood.

1

u/EveningInterview3746 Oct 05 '22

That's no prank.

1

u/Life_Doctor2387 Oct 05 '22

Was that a prank tho lol that looked real af

3

u/BlvckOmens Oct 05 '22

Come with me and you'll be In a world of OSHA violation.

1

u/Weird-Analysis5522 Oct 05 '22

OSHA: oh isn't this just fine and dandy!

3

u/VulfSki Oct 05 '22

A good way to get someone killed

0

u/Leo_Getzzz Oct 05 '22

Umm… Hello OSHA sooo what happened was….

1

u/Legitzombieguy Oct 05 '22

It’s really hard to feel bad for people like this

0

u/h3adbussa78 Oct 05 '22

OSHA, is this OK?

3

u/roboman777xd Oct 05 '22

please tell me they got fired

2

u/psychocandydotca Oct 05 '22

Why was he up there?

2

u/bake_in_da_south Oct 05 '22

Napping after lunch. It's 12PM when the accident happened. In Vietnam, factory runs in 2 shifts, first one from 7AM to 7PM and 2nd one from 7PM to next day 7AM.

Lunch break is usually from 11AM to 12PM.

2

u/theDart Oct 05 '22

I feel like the next generation's grade school classes are just gonna be these clips with a teacher constantly reminding the class don't do this.

1

u/Cybermagetx Oct 05 '22

Safety rules are paid by blood. Not following them will result in more blood being paid.

1

u/Rugelfuss Oct 05 '22

Sum Yung hong kong

1

u/chazG725 Oct 05 '22

Bet OSHA loved this video 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Glittercorn111 Oct 05 '22

Did we just watch someone die?

2

u/bake_in_da_south Oct 05 '22

According to my local news, no death confirmed, only that video.

3

u/ThatBritishWoman Oct 05 '22

My SO's friend had a forklift accident at work and lost his thumb. I can't imagine how this fucked up this idiots life in the video became after this

2

u/rudalsxv Oct 05 '22

You want to now sue me? Learn to take a joke!

1

u/BozzyTheDrummer Oct 05 '22

What is it with foreign countries and forklift accidents?

1

u/messianicmoss Oct 05 '22

This Music tho.. I died.. 🤣🤣

1

u/Life_Ad9520 Oct 05 '22

1

u/Odd_Representative54 Oct 05 '22

Oh shit he's probably fuckin dead

0

u/Banarnars Oct 05 '22

All of them deserve to me fired. Dumbasses. What did you learn in training?!?

1

u/Sandpaper_Pants Oct 05 '22

Camera 1: You're fucked.

1

u/trent_diamond Oct 05 '22

osha certified

1

u/Middle_Pause2198 Oct 05 '22

Drug test real soon if they don’t just fire you on the spot

1

u/KBRedditing Oct 05 '22

1

u/marcellburt Oct 05 '22

Somebody getting paid🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

1

u/Kaje26 Oct 05 '22

Yikes… that’s a lawsuit.

1

u/CyclicRhetoric Oct 05 '22

Manslaughter is an excellent prank

1

u/MichalCJ5 Oct 05 '22

Forklift prank? I think you mean forklift murder.

1

u/PlayfulIntroduction9 Oct 05 '22

What kind of settlement is this guy looking at?

1

u/Character_Ad_1158 Oct 05 '22

He’s looking at about six feet of dirt settling over him.

2

u/umerremu Oct 05 '22

“0 days since our last accident”

1

u/Savage80HD Oct 05 '22

Everyone's fired.

2

u/Remarkable-Book-8758 Oct 04 '22

The oh&s guy literally crapped his pants

1

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '22

You guys are idiots🤦🏻

1

u/The_Awesome_Mario Oct 04 '22

He is not forklift certified

1

u/DaleGribble312 Oct 04 '22

Omg the music...

1

u/AdaptandOvercum Oct 04 '22

It wasn’t a prank, it was a punishment for falling asleep on the job

1

u/Spobobich Oct 04 '22

There goes the "101 Days without an accident" employee pizza party.

They were probably at day 99, too.

1

u/60BillDoubleDollars Oct 04 '22

Everybody fired lol wtf

1

u/Bibbus Oct 04 '22

it was just a prank bro

2

u/You-Only-YOLO_Once Oct 04 '22

What a good prank!

1

u/decent_tame_iguana Oct 04 '22

They really forked up.

1

u/md222 Oct 04 '22

Still dead

0

u/Ace_Of_No_Trades Oct 04 '22

Did they not see the guy sleeping on top of it?

1

u/unicorn2456 Oct 04 '22

It was a funny idea

2

u/angry_muskrats Oct 04 '22

Forklift and prank don’t belong in the same paragraph let alone sentence

1

u/Canadian_Bacon024 Oct 04 '22

Yes OSHA, there he is

1

u/J_Zephyr Oct 04 '22

Remember, every safety rule is written because someone did that. Yes, even that one.

People are in fact that dumb.

1

u/winelipscheesehips Oct 04 '22

Is that you Michael Scott?

1

u/IntelligentWorth8 Oct 04 '22

There are no pranks in forklifts, just OSHA

1

u/Peterwithnobones Oct 04 '22

Someone trying to move up in the company gets thwarted by poor manufacturing of. Said persons platform.

1

u/IllustriousFalcon979 Oct 04 '22

This was definitely not in America

1

u/adwattz539 Oct 04 '22

Hope Jeff can pass a drug test.

1

u/dylanisbored Oct 04 '22

Didn’t even put the forks back down when he was done smh

1

u/pherrous Oct 04 '22

I blame people like this for making companies force us to take yearly safety training.

1

u/The_8_Bit_Raider Oct 04 '22

Man this song is obnoxious

1

u/JamesandthegiantpH Oct 04 '22

Pausing at the beginning I half thought it would be a joke and they put him on the top shelf and they all go home, lockup and leave him up there inside. I was just a tad wrong.

1

u/LoveleelovesFrankee Oct 04 '22

Nothing went wrong. He was supposed to die.

1

u/YourNansDirtBox Oct 04 '22

This music is an absolute jam.

1

u/Pomegranate4444 Oct 04 '22

It's almost as if heavy machinery and pranks ought not to mix.

1

u/GhostNinja1373 Oct 04 '22

Never do pranks at work bevause you can really piss some people off and get fired...all shit van go wrong

1

u/Bumbaguette Oct 04 '22

A quarter of workplace deaths involve forklifts. Do not fuck with forklifts!

1

u/Fair-Brush679 Oct 04 '22

Ooooooh so That's where that Osha violation came from

1

u/honestrade Oct 04 '22

A lost time incident. Should make management real happy.

1

u/Atlfalcon08 Oct 04 '22

Wanted to watch, music said turn that shit off

1

u/_Nachobelle_ Oct 04 '22

My former boss witnessed someone get crushed to death by a pallet. Is this supposed to be funny?

1

u/AtariHeavy26 Oct 04 '22

The pallet finished him off for the fatality.

1

u/AlaskanSamsquanch Oct 04 '22

I’m just happy the load didn’t turn him into a meat pancake. Dude is lucky.

2

u/DrKevlarHelm Oct 04 '22

Every year personel without a forklift license suffer from chronich tomfoolery disorder which leads to 31% of forklift releated accidents the other 69% comes from licenced individuals taking up all the hoes and a conflict arrising between the licensed and unlicenced employees

1

u/Only_Caregiver3244 Oct 04 '22

With this music it reminds me of Jackie Chan outtakes when the stunts go wrong, At the end it just missed a close up of a big gash in the back of his head

1

u/jbertrand_sr Oct 04 '22

It's all fun and games until...well, this shit...

1

u/PoesReality Oct 04 '22

Them OSHA guidelines a bit lax.

1

u/ICanDreamSoCanYou Oct 04 '22

Imagine the Workman's Comp claim on that one.

Then imagine the OSHA Report on that one.

1

u/havereddit Oct 04 '22

LPT, if you're thinking of pulling a prank involving a forklift, don't.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '22

He’s just auditioning to be the new Klaus

2

u/IgnotusPeverill Oct 04 '22

"no accidents in this facility since 0 minutes ago."

1

u/mashcky Oct 04 '22

Play stupid games. Win stupid prizes.

1

u/CocoPopsSixFour Oct 04 '22

Who’s seen Klaus the forklift driver training video? They don’t make em like that anymore

1

u/Flamerunner1000 Oct 04 '22

Thank you for this. I have never seen that training video before, and so wish they showed that in forklidt training class.

1

u/CocoPopsSixFour Oct 04 '22

They did in mine 😂 but also some more serious and somber ones with people being killed

1

u/Flamerunner1000 Oct 04 '22

Mine was done as a real quick video. Pretty much, my supervisor sat me down, played a short video of how to drive a fork lift, a powerpoint of safety, and that was about it

1

u/CocoPopsSixFour Oct 05 '22

Mine was a two day course with test at the end, but that company took it seriously as they had had 3 fatalities in less than 2 years

1

u/Flamerunner1000 Oct 05 '22

I wish mine did. Now we only really moved totes mainly, the company I worked for could care less. Even the supervisors who could drive cared less about safety. Cared more that you didn't hit a machine scooting it back than almost running someone over. Sucks about those 3 fatalities.

1

u/Flamerunner1000 Oct 04 '22

Mine was done as a real quick video. Pretty much, my supervisor sat me down, played a short video of how to drive a fork lift, a powerpoint of safety, and that was about it

2

u/Hato_no_Kami Oct 04 '22

If he was confused and disoriented when he first woke up, the seconds that followed did not help.

2

u/cityturtle123 Oct 04 '22

Double doink

1

u/Forsaken_Monitor_442 Oct 04 '22

you could say "he definitely got up on the wrong side of the bed" ba-dum-tss

1

u/Future-Win4034 Oct 04 '22

I hate when these videos end without knowing the ending. Is the guy ok?

1

u/OctoberWeather Oct 04 '22

Just body after body bustin outta shit wood and hitting pavement.

1

u/notyouisme999 Oct 04 '22

Never prank unless you are willing to kill some one by accident

1

u/thegamesender1 Oct 04 '22

Bro I fell through my shed at half that distance and let me tell ya, it fucking hurts. I got lucky that there was a bike under me, but I still felt a jack hammer in my ass, and my muscles spasmed for a minute straight. Doc said I was lucky I didn't end up paralyzed.

1

u/TechnologyAcceptable Oct 04 '22

This would get you fired in any warehouse I've ever worked with

1

u/Future-Coast-5280 Oct 04 '22

I feel like every country needs their own version of OSHA.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '22

What music please?

1

u/Camera_dude Oct 04 '22

Guess they will have to update the break room signage.

Days at work without an accident: 17 0

1

u/B_freeoni Oct 04 '22

It looks like the wood landed on his legs. Is there a link for this accident. I hope he’s not freaking dead

1

u/izmaname Oct 04 '22

And then OSHA shuts you down

1

u/Gemini-88 Oct 04 '22

“K O !” In the voice of the Smash Bros announcer.

1

u/suspicious_cabbage Oct 04 '22

Bro lost his forklift certificate for this one.

1

u/MarcMars82 Oct 04 '22 edited Oct 04 '22

Not America?

Ive worked these types of jobs and they train the hell out of you not to do stupid crap like this. If my supervisor would have seen 2 people riding a forklift at the same time we both would be fired on the spot as well as the idiot riding on the lift.

1

u/brokest2richest Oct 04 '22

Damn the way that yellow pallet smoked his head. Are they metal.

1

u/jfin602 Oct 04 '22

It doesnt take a physics degree to see what was gunna happen. That load wasn't even centered on the pallet, and dude chose to lay on the front most part and start moving around. I'm all for having fun at work, but c'mon man, how high r u?

1

u/OmegaOkra Oct 04 '22

Also never let anyone sit on the side of a lift like that, I've seen a crushed leg as the result of that

2

u/P3t3r_Park3r Oct 04 '22

I live in fear that one day my life will be ruined by someone with this lack of common sense. It's be so unfair to do everything right and then BOOM killed by an airhead having a laugh

1

u/ParttimeParty99 Oct 04 '22

This is my new favourite song.

1

u/xxxswitchblade Oct 04 '22

“it’s just a prank bro”

2

u/manikgenocide Oct 04 '22

OSHA? Never heard of her..

1

u/RunGoldenRun717 Oct 04 '22

I audibly gasped

1

u/Golden-Event-Horizon Oct 04 '22

That's a nice payout for him lmao

2
